Spring Bucket List

Most of us have a bucket list, and if you don't it is time to write one! I love the feeling of accomplishing items on my list and getting to experience the things that I've been looking forward to. Sometimes the items that tend to stick around for a long time are the ones that are close to home and seemingly easy to do, so it's time to accomplish some goals! Add these items to your bucket list and let's get them done this spring!

Neighborhoods: Goose Hollow

The Goose Hollow neighborhood in Portland sits west of downtown and just south of Burnside street. The neighborhood is more residential than some of the other neighborhoods in Portland, but is certainly not lacking in attractions, restaurants and things to do. Goose Hollow is still very walkable, with downtown being only a few blocks down the hill and NW Portland being right over Burnside.

Andy Warhol at the Portland Art Museum

I love visiting art museums, and I think the Portland Art Museum is particularly beautiful. Maybe I'm biased, but I love the architecture of the building, the permanent exhibitions, and the great location downtown. I always pay attention to what new exhibitions are coming and try to plan my visit for a rainy day. The Portland Art Museum also has a great little cafe, and I'm in love with the gift shop!

All of the action happens downtown, so hop on the Max or the streetcar and check out the sights!

The Book of Mormon

Going to plays and musicals used to be one of my favorite things to do with my family. My grandparents lived in LA, and whenever I would visit we would try to attend at least one or two shows. Some of my favorites growing up were the Lion King, Wicked and Annie. I haven't been in way too long though, so it came as an amazing surprise when my mom got us tickets for Book of Mormon for my birthday! That was this October, and I was so excited waiting for the night of the show to come January 23rd!
