To Do: March 2017

I love March because it means spring will be starting soon!! Even though Portland tends to have a rainy March, and a rainy spring in general, I'm still looking forward to warmer weather.

Below are the events that I am most looking forward to during March!

Wine & Girl Scout Cookie Pairing

March 3-5 at Hip Chicks do Wine. Girl Scout Cookies are obviously amazing, and pairing them with wine definitely seems like the perfect way to get the best cookie experience possible!

SE Portland ARTWalk

March 4-5 in SE Portland. The SE Area ARTWalk is a FREE, self-guided walking tour.  You will visit the studios, home workspaces, galleries, host homes and businesses within the walkable/bikeable/busable boundaries of SE 9th Ave, SE 41st,  SE Powell and SE Hawthorne Blvd.  The event is March 4th & 5th, 2017 Sat. & Sun. 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Portland Women's Expo

March 11 at The Oregon Convention Center. I don't go to expos at the Convention Center too often, but I do love the opportunity to engage and network with other women at the Women's Expo. The event features a beauty bar, food & alcohol stalls, massage, samples and everything else you could want or need! It's a must go!

Kells St. Patrick's Irish Festival

March 17-19 at both Kells Portland locations. I pretty much love any festival, and I know that Kells Bar knows how to throw a party. I have unfortunately never been able to go to their Irish Festival in the past, so this year I'm so excited to wear green, drink beer and have a very Irish time! Kells is offering tons of live music, boxing matches, a Timbers viewing party and family fun (Sunday only). Cheers to a good time!

The Shamrock Run

March 19 at the Waterfront Park. This is a great event to do with friends- they offer short distances, free beer, costume contests and great entertainment! Plus, free access to the Fitness Expo the weekend of the race.

Wooden Shoe Tulip Fest

March 24-April 30 at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm in Woodburn. David and I went to this last year and had the best time checking out all of the gorgeous tulips on display! Besides getting to view the flowers, the festival offers great food and drinks, wine tasting, crafts and beautiful bouquets of flowers to take home.

Cider Rite of Spring

March 25 at the Evergreen. I'm a huge cider fan and am so looking forward to sampling over 100 different ciders!! Ok, I won't be able to sample them all, but I know this event will be a great opportunity to discover some new favorites. Also, I love the Evergreen (the venue), and Loyal Legion is right below!
