Realtor. Explorer. Lover of design, travel, family, friends, and sunshine. I'm lucky enough to call the beautiful city of Portland, Oregon home. Follow me through my explorations and achieve Pacific Bliss.
I recently went to San Francisco with David for a family event. We had an amazing time hanging out with family, relaxing in the sun and exploring the city. Rather than explaining all of the things that we did, I'm sharing my experiences through the photos that we took while on our trip. Enjoy!
I've been wanting to go to Astoria for months and months as a day trip from either Portland or Manzanita. It is only about an hour from Manzanita, and about 1.5 hours drive from Portland. Astoria is located right off the coast on the Oregon side of the Columbia River and is the cutest little town full of historic shops, restaurants, breweries and sight-seeing.
June is one of my favorite months of the year because it signifies the start of summer! I'm looking forward to spending lots of time outside and taking in as much of the amazing city of Portland as possible. Here are all of the events that I'm looking forward to this month!
Sukhi Rugs source their designs from India, Morocco, Nepal and Turkey. Each country has a unique style of rug and an interesting story behind the design and the production of the rugs. Sukhi Rugs ensures that all of the talented people who make their rugs have great pay and excellent working conditions, so you can feel good about shopping from this site and knowing that you are truly supporting the local artisans. I instantly fell in love with the Beni Ourain Rugs from Morocco and want to share with you how they are made and how great they look!
Rachel's Ginger Beer makes fantastic, strong, flavorful ginger beer using a variety of fresh ingredients. They offer some unique flavors, such as blood orange, pink guava or a current summer special of raspberry hibiscus.
Janice Miller, contributer to the popular blog Safety Today, loves when her family treats her to a special vegan lunch on Mother's Day. I've invited her to share some of her favorite tips for keeping your mother's day vegan and vegetarian friendly!
One of my absolute biggest weaknesses is pizza. I really do love it all- New York style, deep dish, cheap or expensive. Every year Portland helps pizza lovers like me celebrate with $2 slices throughout the city. This year the event takes place from April 17- April 22 and 30 local restaurants are participating!
I recently discovered CROWDYHOUSE, an amazing website featuring a carefully curated selection of home decor pieces, furniture, and even fashion! Their site features top European designers, as well as fun new up and comers in the industry.
Inspired by my post of 2017 home design trends, as well as ways to make your home spring ready, here are some of my favorite pieces from their Pantone Greenery Design Products page. Happy Shopping!
